Suit vs Blazer vs Sport jacket

Guys there are a lot of people out there who don't know the difference between suit, blazers and sports jacket. And how to wear them.
Today I am gonna describe all these attires and some outfit ideas for you guys.

Let's get started...

1. Suit

First of all, a suit is Jacket and pants made of same fabric of same color and same material. Suits are usually very formal like for business meetings or formal events but they can also go semi-formal. They can be worn to dates or travelling. Sometimes they can be casual but the real soul of suits are formal. 

Then there can be different types like a two piece suit or a three piece suit. As the name suggests, two piece has a jacket and pants while three piece suits are jacket, pants and waistcoat. 

Now there are two types of suits viz. single breasted and double breasted.

Then on the basis of vents there is American suit, British suit and Italian suit.

Tuxedo suit

And after all this there is Tuxedo or normally called as Tux. These are normally for formal events or black tie events or marriage function.

You guys should definitely watch the TV series Suits starring Gabriel Macht. You will get the best suit ideas. The pinstripe suits, the wide lapels, peak lapels,,, OMG 

You can make a whole wardrobe out of it.

2. Blazers

Now a blazer is just a jacket which can be dressed up with jeans and shirts, chinos and shirt, jeans and t-shirts etc. 

The basic difference between blazer and suit is that the pants are different. With a blazer, u can wear jeans or chinos or any pants, unlike suits where you can only wear pants which are from same fabric of same color and same material.

Blazers can be worn formally as well as casually. 

Its the best piece to be dressed up because it builds your shoulders, streamlines your waist and gives a structure to your body. And if you have a blazer which hugs you ie. fits you perfectly then you can rock it. 

3. Sports jacket

A sport jacket is not what your name suggests like a bomber jacket or a quilted jacket. 

The only difference between a blazer and a sports jacket is that a blazer is in a solid color and sports jacket has some pattern or texture.

Just like a blazer, can be worn with a jeans or chinos. Its the most casual item. You can wear it on a date, on a coffee, going to park or dinner, anything. Just don't wear it to office meetings or in a formal or black tie event.
